While the other little girls loved pink,
my favorite was magenta.
Out of my box of Crayola 64′s, I always hunted out the magenta first.
Ever since yesterday’s post on these beauties,
….magenta has been on my mind.
And I cannot think of a better fabric to show off the rich pigments of a lush magenta than velvet. preferably silk velvet.
feast on these beautiful uses of magenta velvet in interiors:
would you dare to use magenta in your home? I would love to know!

Those flowers are GORGEOUS! I love a nice non-grocery store arrangement, ha!
Yes, magenta–I've never met a color I didn't like.
Darlene I forgot about this yummy, luscious color. Love it! The photos are amazing. I'll definitely use it one day soon.
Warmly, ~Melissa
I have had that same image of the room with the turquoise walls saved for eons just waiting for the perfect place to use it as inspiration. Love it!
Love the magenta color-a favorite of mine is Davis Hicks – La Fiorentina – a great geometric with a huge color punch!

I just stumbled upon this post — a little late, I know! My oldest daughter is obsessed with magenta. I'm thinking that in her next room, she is going to *need* a magenta chair like the ones you pictured above. Beautiful inspiration!
