Recycled-wood art is the perfect addition to a home that is craving for a touch of rustic, a touch of real, and a touch of earthiness. It is an amazing layer of texture that adds instant warmth to a room. It is just a brush-stroke of age and imperfection that adds nothing but character.

I love the use of old recycled wood in these projects {below}, and how beautifully they would contrast with even the glam. It is just the perfect touch of farmhouse simplicity, don’t you agree?? {find the source for all of these pics on this Pinterest Inspiration Board}

Are you loving recycled wood yet?

Oh good. Because I am hoping I got you in the mood to shop. Why so overt? Well, because I happen to be passionate about supporting women who are following their passions and creating beautiful things. So there.

And today, I want to share my super kind, super lovely, super creative sponsor with you: Jennifer of The Finest Kind of Life,

…and her super cool, super inspiring, super classic reclaimed & recycled wood artwhich you can find here or by clicking over on her pretty lil’ button in my sidebar.

Jennifer, in all her super-ness, sent me the very piece that stole my heart when I first saw her gorgeous art. It reads: “It is well with my soul.” And for those of you who may not know the AWESOME hymn that this comes from – or have forgotten the words, you simply must go and read the words {just don’t get too weepy for shopping, okay? okay.}.

The wood is such sturdy quality, finely crafted, and it came all ready to hang.Doesn’t it look perfect in Fieldstone Hill? It is right near the front door:

I know you will love Jennifer, her talent and her sweet spirit. {tell her I said “Hi,” okay?}

I would love to see a picture of where YOU add a touch of rustic, reclaimed wood to your space!  Where do you dream of using reclaimed wood? Perhaps it will be beside a touch a glam….
