I love this Plaid inspired boy’s room.
At least, that is how I see it: a room for a young man coming into his own. {Although it would make an amazing guest room as well.} I am thinking, it would be awesome to pull some of these elements into his room, a bit at a time. You know. To grow things up.

Ditto. {what I would steal from this room}:
1. The black lampshades. Easy but bold.
2. The mahogany all-grown-up side table. {hmm. I would probably do one with some storage}
3. The black framed hunting prints.
4. The wool, plaid, brown-color-schemed blanket.
5. I would keep the window treatments unobtrusive and subtle {you can’t exactly go without window treatments in most bedrooms} by adding plantation shutters, or good-quality, white, roll-up shades.
6. The crisp, pure-white sheets with a strong presence. I love how they make an impact with the doubled-up pillows and the bold sheet fold-over.

Nice room…I especially like the wooden bed frame.
oooh. me too! how could I have missed commenting on 'stealing' that idea? I love how it is partially stained black!
What is the source for the plaid blanket?
