I usually think about white, cool spaces in the summer.
When it is time for a feeling of breezes.
But, even with cool winds blowing just outside my door, I could still imagine myself in this crisp, white, space.
I think that it is the Swedish-inspired feel that ‘winterizes’ it for me.
And with a few white fur pillows to replace the crisp blue, I can imagine a white Christmas in this room….

ditto. {what I would steal from this space}:
- the amazing charcoal and white striped hardwoods. A fantastic solution for aging floors. So much impact.
- I cannot deny. I LOVE the huge Moravian Star chandelier.
- Simple and neutral roman shades don’t fight the light.
- The horizontal white paneling on the walls. Amazing harmony with the floors.
- White. White. and more white.
- The Painted steps are ditto-worthy.
- Neutral sofa. Always smart. I would have thrown some brown, textured pillows into this space.
- The impact of that rug cannot be ignored. Now. the white is brave. A bit too brave for a family? I don’t know. There are so many great imitation choices and fabrics out there at a variety of prices. It rocks in this room.
