Still thinking about kid spaces! Here is one of the pics from this post. Thought I would pull it apart, and share what I love about it.

ditto. {what I would steal from this space}:
  1. The chocolate brown and leaf green color scheme. I love how rich it feels to have the walls and all of the window sills and the upholstery all covered in a warm chocolate coating.
  2. The mobile. Classic and inspiring.
  3. Now how cool is it that the map and the color scheme are one? I wonder which came first? Can’t tell if this map is framed, but that would add a crispness. An open frame so there is no glare, and you can still add pins to the places you visit.
  4. Love the vintage barn-style light fixture. Found one for a good price.
  5. I adore wood floors. But the large surface rug in this room invites little ones to get down and get busy. I don’t know about you, but I used to love studying sprawled out on the floor.
  6. Pillows that match the window treatments: Decorating 101. Love this green awning stripe. It is so bold and fun.
  7. Every child’s room needs a fun, creative, colorful stuffed creature as it’s feature. You can find the cutest ones on etsy. I love this guy. and this one.
  8. A basket of toys and classic wooden trains weaving around the room seals the deal. Creative learning, here we come!
