must have :: favorite offices and a favorite planner
Wednesday, January 18, 2012 by {darlene}

I am a paper girl.

Oh, now don’t go taking away my MacBook, or I will wheel kick you. But, still. I have tried electronic planning, and things just don’t sink into my head that way. It is paper-planning for moi. Besides.  Nothing speaks to me like a gorgeous handwritten note, or a blank yearly datebook…. filled with promise and the hope that I may just have a “good” handwriting-day {anyone else?}.

So, ahem. I have a favorite planner. And I have tried lots of planners. This one is THE best.

And since I have this-here-blog, I practically begged said-favorite-planner company to send me one of their planners so I can tell all of you about it. So, there you have it. I got a free planner {gleeeee}, and you lucky dogs now get to know about the best planner ever.

Isn’t she pretty?

I wish my pictures accurately showed the sheen of the cover. But, suffice it to say, she is pretty.

Check out her lovely colors.

And she is not just one of those “pretty on the outside only” kinda gals. It is her inside that is most beautiful: Simple. Practical. No-fuss. Open to hope and an organized, properly-tabbed future!

Click on the image below and you can hop over to see the pages in more detail at Get Buttoned Up. {a great company, with great organizational products, a useful blog, and stellar customer service}

Get this pretty planner while the getting is good! I used it for one blissfully organized year, and I am giddy to use it in 2012!

Now. hmmmmm. Since I am such a lover of beautiful things, I think that I will need a gorgeous office to go with my gorgeous planner…. right?

Here are a few office spaces that I just find to be the perfect balance of stunning and inspiring {from my Pinterest board: “Inspiration Offices and Workrooms.” You can click on over for more inspiration and for sources}:

So, how about you?? paper-planner or electric?

and, which office is your fave, 1-6?

{I requested and received a free planner in exchange for this post. No further compensation is associated with this post}

  • I love that planner- the colored pages look inspiring!
    I use iCal- because I ALWAYS have my phone with me- bu am apt to
    Leave a
    Planner behind when in a rush to get out the door!

    I adore that last office with the patterned rug, canary chairs ad as foam green walls-not sure if icould get work done- might just snap pics and email them to friends;) instead of working or planning!
    Blessings!

    • I hear you! my planner stays in my purse…. but some days it doesn’t make it with me. But I ALWAYS miss events when I do it digitally. Writing must make it sink in or something! ha!

      I know. I LOVE LOVE that last office. My favorite part? how tiny it is! with built-ins and a window and…
      hmmm. might need to ditto this one!

  • I have to have a paper planner too. Love all your office inspiration! Pretty.

  • Paper Paper Paper. I have tried other methods and failed. If you send me a google calendar invite I will delete you and write you in with my pencil.
    I will always be paper.
    Last photo. The colors, the couch by the window and the library beg one to take a break and read. Books. More paper. Oh dear…….

  • I love the herringbone floors in the first pic! I wish I could still do the paper thing, but I think technology has taken away my ability to write by hand. It’s just a giant ugly slur now, not at all worthy of such a pretty little planner!

  • I organize everything on my iphone and mac…but I still have the need to write things down and take notes in little books that I keep around forever. I have a few of these pics on my Pinterest board and I think #4 is my favorite…I just love dark rooms for some reason…I think that little space could keep me motivated and inspired.

    I think I just started following you by rss feed…via your email.

  • I am definitely a paper gal. Last year I made my own “planner” that also worked as a journal/keeper of my lists. I loved the idea of it and I know I will enjoy looking back at it in years to come. But, making my own calendar pages was not fun! This year I am using one by Sarah Pinto, but will definitely check into this style for next year.

    I love office #3!

  • I love paper planners but don’t tend to use them efficiently. I have been using my iPhone’s planner. As for the offices, they’re all beautiful, but I swooned over #5. I’d love to know what that toile wallcovering is and what company. Thanks for another great post!

  • Good handwriting day, YES!

    Paper!

    And, it’s a toss up between 5 & 6.

  • White walls, art, and ghost chair! Love it , funky!

  • I love planners! Can’t pick a fav office. I like them all. Hope you’re having a grand evening. Toodles, Kathryn @TheDedicatedHouse
