Stinkin’ adorable Georgia Lu, Sneaky Peeky Nursery, and Un-wording

I cannot even pretend subtle humility in this post:

I have the cutest baby in the entire world!!!

This girl is just slaying me with her cuteness. I mean, COME ON:

You’re welcome.

And in other news, I have officially made all purchases for #projectnursery, put some finishing-goodness in that space, and today {!!} I am getting some professional pics taken. It will still be a little while before I get to share it {sorry!}, because I am sharing the room with some magazine friends first, but I promise…. you WILL get to see this room – “soon-ish.”

Does it make you feel better to know that I just got to see it finished myself, for the first time, yesterday??

Funny how having a little thing like a newborn will slow down your decorating plans. {wink} I took a few closeups, and thought I would share them with you today. Some have made their debut on my Instagram before, but others are new – and it is fun to see them together here:

I am just loving this space, y’all. And I can’t wait to share the big-picture with you!

If you are new here, or don’t follow along, I would be honored if you would join my daily journey toward “Living with Beauty.” Plus..  the nursery reveal is coming soon! I could just squeal! Sign up for email updates here.

And.

Last but not least!!

Don’t forget that TOMORROW is the big link up for your Un-word 2014 #unword2014 !!! What is an Un-word, you ask? Well, check out my post on the matter, and read about my own Un-word. Then, declare your own Un-word to the world and link it up tomorrow! You can link up at any of the four hosting blogs: Fieldstone Hill Design {hello!}, Nesting Place, Life in Grace, and The Painted House.

#unword2014

Wait. Actually.

THIS is last but not least:

My favorite quote from Martin Luther King, Jr.

“I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; “and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.” {Isaiah 40:4-5}

This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the South with.

With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.”

Have a beautiful day, fine people! See you back tomorrow, where we will declare freedom from our Un-words!

Our minds can be traps. What better place to be set free, than from the prisons we set for ourselves in our own minds?

Let us be free indeed. Starting with one little word.
